Entering the working mom force

It's been about two and a half weeks since I started back to work. And I feel....good. Surprisingly really good.

It was so stinking hard to leave Kenlee at home the first few days, but it really has gotten easier. When am I gonna realize that everything the veteran mothers tell me really is true?

Anyway, I realized last night that I absolutely love my job. It's been stressful as I transition to the editor position, but it's been really thrilling too. People, I pick the news you read. Isn't that all sorts of awesome?

She looks so muck like him, and it melts my heart when he is holding her and it's like he's looking in a tiny mirror. I love when I hear him singing to her (Beach Boys, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, and even Ke$ha) to calm her down or when I come into the living room to find her asleep on his chest.

• Breast-feeding is one of the hardest, yet most rewarding things I've ever done. Someday the topic will get its own post. But f…
